MA program in Clinical and Health Psychology

The aim of this MA program is to educate experts who know and understand the forms of appearance, the base mechanisms, the bio-psycho-social interconnections, the elementary principles of diagnostics, the models and theoretical bases of therapy and prevention, of healthy and pathological bodily and mental functioning. During the program, students get acquainted with the methods of exploring health and illness behavior, and of behavioral and mental disorders, along with the application of these methods. They practice the basic skills with which they can apply supportive treatment and utilize health resources and interventions assisting the coping with diseases, with professional supervision, in patient treatment and in health protection. This MA program provides excellent basis for postgraduate trainings (e.g. in clinical psychology, health psychology, neuropsychology); moreover, fort those who aim an academic career, makes it possible to apply for PhD programs.
